The work of Beleza & Empreendedorismo continues with the aim of proposing new experiences for women at the bottom of the social pyramid, promoting income generation and productive inclusion. These two concepts, combined with entrepreneurship, contribute to building a fairer society, enabling people in situations of economic and social vulnerability to generate their own income in a dignified and stable manner.
The training follows Banco da Providência’s three-phase methodology, with the Human Development stage, Professional Training in Braiding and Eyelash Design and Entrepreneurship, carried out in partnership with Sebrae Rio de Janeiro. At the end of the second phase, 20 students who performed best during the training will be selected to receive a financial incentive of R$600.00 reais to support their entrepreneurial initiative. In the final phase, the future entrepreneurs will receive six months of support and mentoring.
(Re) Conquista (2021-2023)
(Re)Conquista is a program that stimulates the power of choice of women from the periphery through professional training and entrepreneurship to generate work and income. The Institute was part of the program from 2021 to 2023.
The program is carried out in partnership between Stone and Banco da Providência with the support of the Phi Institute. Its mission is to contribute to the reduction of extreme poverty in Brazil by qualifying NGOs that train entrepreneurs throughout the country. The training takes place at the JCA Institute and follows the so-called 3-Phase Methodology, developed by Banco da Providência and qualified as a social technology by the Banco do Brasil Foundation, with positive results in quantitative and qualitative Impact Assessment surveys.
Phase 1
The first phase of this program is based on human development: the idea is to recognize each person’s potential so that they can see themselves as agents of change in their own history.
Phase 2
The second phase represents a solution designed for people with an elementary school education profile, in which technical vocational training is provided in different segments and entrepreneurial skills are developed.
Phase 3
The third phase consists of workshops and mentoring over six months.
Sebrae partnership
In partnership with Sebrae RJ, the JCA Institute is offering free courses, workshops and lectures on entrepreneurship. The aim of these opportunities is to encourage people to take action and start businesses that generate positive and financial impacts for their lives and families.
