In partnership with JCA Group companies, the Institute supports and develops art, culture and education projects that combine mobility actions with the appropriation of territories and cultural spaces in regions of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
São Paulo: Parque Vila Maria – IJCA + Viação Cometa
The Vila Maria Arts Park is part of a series of artistic and educational initiatives to raise awareness and provide training in various languages in the Vila Maria Park area, in São Paulo’s North Zone. The aim is to strengthen trajectories and relationships in the territory, in order to expand opportunities for sustainable development in Parque Vila Maria through socio-cultural investments.
Culture & Sport
The JCA Institute’s actions focus on directing and monitoring cultural and sports projects and ongoing actions, valuing the interface between educational action in partnership with local producers, public schools, companies and social and cultural organizations in the area. The set of initiatives is sponsored via ProaC ICMS by Viação Cometa, which has been based in Vila Maria for over 60 years. The company has sought to act in a more direct and structured way in the human, social and economic development of the territory, contributing to the creation of new relationships and possibilities in the area.
